Eva.
36 years old. Single mother, three children: Myriam, 18, Amir, 8, and Alan, 5.
Eva comes from Russia but she is leaving in Almaty since a while, now.
A small flat, in a soviet building. 7th floor. An amazing view of the mountains through the window – we stayed there for two nights.

Eva. She wanted to help us as much as she could: we were her first couchsurfers! She was a bit shy but we could feel that she wanted to share with us a lot of impressions and emotions about the life in Almaty.
Even if she was very busy with taking care of her family, especially with Alan, the smallest one, she insisted to pick us up at the bus station, to give us food for every meal and to spend time with us.
She showed us some places: the mountains (we went with her, Amir and Alan for a small but very refreshing walk), the park in the center and an orthodox church.

Young and brave, she is.
Sometimes, life is not easy at all. But with persistence and generosity, it is possible to make people happy. She did it! With us and in daily life - with a lot of courage.
